All of those figures are great when you need to type with one hand, EXCEPT ...
The AlphaSmart Keyboards are very popular with schools. The AlphaSmart is mainly a way for students to learn to type and keyboard. It us cheaper than a computer, costing from $175 to $405, but unfortunately, it is not a solution for the one handed typist.
The same problem comes up for AlphaSmart keyboard for the one-handed typist, as for laptops. You cannot use most laptops for a one handed typist. See the article on laptops for one handed typists
